Liu Jiaxia hydropower plant reached a record high of 6.074 billion kwh in 2010

In 2010, Liujiaxia Hydropower Plant's annual power generation reached 6.074 billion kWh, an increase of 374 million kWh from 2009, and completed 110.44% of the annual power generation plan, creating the highest historical record of annual power generation since the plant was built.

As the only power plant in Gansu Province and the largest hydropower plant in the province, the Liujiaxia hydropower plant plays an important role in the Gansu power grid and plays an irreplaceable role. The cadres and staff of the plant implement the goal of ensuring safe power generation and giving full play to the maximum benefits of the enterprise. In order to ensure the safety of the Yellow River Basin and to give full play to the economic and social benefits of the power plant, the planned maintenance tasks for some plants in this plant were forced to be postponed. Long-term continuous heavy load operation and the impact of sedimentation during the flood season have brought pressure on the safe and stable operation of the main equipment. Faced with this situation, all the cadres and workers of the plant, under the correct leadership of the company’s party and group, are striving to implement the scientific concept of development, facing difficulties, conscientiously analyzing, making scientific decisions, and formulating practical and feasible countermeasures to ensure safe power generation.
