Zhoushan Economic and Information Technology Committee was informed that Zhejiang Xinya Magnetoelectric Development Co., Ltd. recently won the bid for the power distribution system project of 30,000 cubic meters of liquefied natural gas (LNG) feeder ship. This is the first time that the company has received the supporting equipment for this type of ship. According to reports, this new ship is the first small LNG feeder ship in China and the world's largest C-class LNG ship. It was built by Jiangnan Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd. for CNOOC Energy Development Co., Ltd. The total length of the ship is 185.5 meters, the design capacity is 30,000 cubic meters, and four independent C-type cargo holds are adopted. The main propulsion system adopts the "dual fuel generator set + rudder propeller advancement (DFDE)" mode, and the emission index is significantly lower than the current one.
